 As Managing Director of a fast-growing EdTech startup, Dominik leveraged technology to engage millions of youth globally on the SDGs & climate. As Vice-President at Palantir Technologies, he led global business and philanthropic partnership efforts with governments, companies and humanitarian organisations. And as co-founder of a business incubator, he helped develop and exit several technology and social entrepreneurship companies, before joining an international health financing organization.
As Senior Advisor to three consecutive Executive Directors of the Global Fund, Zotti contributed to the strategy and implementation of a campaign raising $ 12 billion from 50 government and private donors, and established innovative partnerships with private sector companies, impact investors, and HNWIs, including the development of a global online marketplace for public health commodities. At the Global Fund, he built on his expertise from managing advocacy efforts and stakeholder engagement for the United Nations Secretary-General towards progress on the SDGs.

Christophe started his career in 1994 with the French Space Agency as arocket scientist for European Ariane space launchers family and moved to Switzerland in 1998 to start an IT career applied to finance going through different roles for major Geneva based Private Banks and Asset Managers.
With a passion for data and digital, he added Portfolio Management, Risk management, Quantitative analysis and Data science education to his background in order to better help organizations in their Front to Back digitalization strategy.

Thomas Delhon is an aerospace engineer, specialized in entrepreneurship and innovative project management at ISAE-SUPAERO. Passionate about space exploration, he has acquired through his professional and associative experiences strong skills in space resources, essential to future space exploration so as not to depend on infrastructure and resources from Earth. He founded and manages Neamine, a French startup whose objective is to reinvent the way solar energy is used, by developing industrial solar concentrators that can be used in various industries to benefit from free and decarbonized energy. Particularly, Neamine is interested in the production of biochar by this process, and in the long-term production of resources necessary for the exploration of the Moon and Mars in-situ.

Stephane has a diverse experience that led him from studying international law to being a shipwreck diver and a professional skipper and being in charge of the international publications of Euronext. For the last fifteen years, he has worked mainly as a consultant, trainer, and coach for international public organizations, especially for EU institutions. Stephane has also been working in China with international automotive companies and many Chinese IT SMEs. He also has direct field experience in Iraq, Central African Republic, and Chad missions. He focuses his work on helping organizations deal with complexity and uncertainty through systemic team coaching, talks, and specific workshops. Stephane’s actions aim primarily at helping organizations and systems move into the future.

With nearly 20 years of experience in a wide range of organizations and industries, Sonja has been working independently for several years now using a young scientific discipline that derives solutions from nature for today’s reality – an approach that has the power to provide answers to a wide range of global and societal problems. Petrus owns a 3000ha farm in the Zambian wilds, where there is no electricity or cell networks easily accessible. He started driving tractors as early as 10 years old, and after finishing high school, he went to university where he obtained a Horticultural degree. Petrus then followed a 2-year compulsory army training and deployment, where he chose to work as an agricultural extension officer in rural areas. Afterward, he had a 4-year job in the Dept. of Agriculture in South Africa, also as an extension officer.

Seeing opportunities in Zambia after the democratic elections in 1990, he moved there and obtained 3000ha of tribal lands, which he converted into a conservancy. It is here that Petrus developed a soil remedy, drawing from global practices and nature’s principles. This product has been developed over the last 30 years by the late Dr. Pieter Cloete, and his late father, Nico Snyman (Bsc. Agronomy Pta.). Nico was actively involved in the development of commercial agriculture throughout his life and realized that the conventional practice of chemical industrial agriculture was damaging soil biology to such an extent that growing healthy plants was becoming almost impossible. Nico dedicated himself to developing a natural method of rehabilitating biologically dead soil, which could be applied to large-scale commercial farming.

Nils S. Tuchschmid is professor of Finance and head of the Finance Institute at the Haute Ecole de Gestion Fribourg (HEG-FR), University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland. Before joining HEG-FR, Nils was a Partner, Head of Tactical Trading Strategies and Chairman of the Investment Committee at Tages Group (today Investcorp- Tages). Previously, he was the Co-Head of the Alternative Funds Advisory team at UBS and Head of Multi-Manager Portfolios at Credit-Suisse. He also worked as Strategist and Head of quantitative research and alternative investments at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise. Nils was Professor of Banking and Finance at HEG Geneva and Professor of Finance at HEC Lausanne University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Geneva and he has published numerous articles and research papers on asset management and alternative investments.

Nicolas started his career at STERIA Group in 1998 as Sales Engineer in charge of developing IT Outsourcing contracts for large French banks. In 2001, he moved to Switzerland (Geneva) leading a new offering, IT Managed Services, for STERIA Switzerland. Attracted by entrepreneurship, he joined Veltigroup in 2004, a privately owned company, where he held various Senior Sales & business development positions during 10 years. After the Veltigroup acquisition by Swisscom at the end of 2015, he co-founded his own software company: REGDATA. Since 2016, he has been exposed to data monetization, data protection, smart regulation, business platforms challenges, providing impactful advisory services.

During the last 7 years, he has developed different green tech high performance materials. One of these materials has also been rewarded in 8 competitions including the MIT Mass Challenge, Impact Hub & Blast Aerospace. Founder of Innovative Circular Engineering, the company that lightens, reinforces and decarbonizes space, air, sea, land transport & construction. Yves is a former Capgemini consultant in strategy and a Publicis project director. He is an engineer in Biotech, MS AgroParisTech, MBA Essec, Project management professional from the PMI.

Claude is a French and Spanish ecologist, Professor of International Forest Management at Bern University of Applied Sciences. He designs and uses strategy games to help people understand and shape the landscapes of tomorrow. He has worked in Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Madagascar, Central Africa, Colombia and Brazil. In 2018, he created LEAF Inspiring Change with his partners from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. LEAF aspires to help citizens, businesses and institutions develop better strategies in the face of uncertainty. Claude holds a PHD in Tropical Forst Ecology, a master in biochemistry as well as in forestry.

Laurent is a geographer, economist (UNIGE) and European Master in Environmental Engineering (EPFL) , Carbon footprint trainer (IFC Paris) and ICA auditor (Afnor Paris) ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 26000, ISO 50001 Since 1997, founder and associate director of the Maneco office, company active in the field of the environment and sustainable development, specialized in research, communication and management of projects as well as in their scientific and methodological support. Laurent specializes in environmental analysis and sustainable management audits. He regularly has training both with private and public authorities. Since 2007, it has been carrying out greenhouse gas inventories followed by action plans.

Yulia is a passionate change management leader with strategic mindset and proven track record to deploy and leverage performance and continuous improvement through streamlining processes, designing, launching and evaluating large-scale efficiency programs and projects. Knowledgeable in technology, strategic planning and supply chain management, experienced in automation and implementing innovation and digital solutions. With 15+ years experience in collaboration with governments, international organizations both from public and private sectors she has a very diversified blend of expertise ranging from data management, EU ETS’s and CURSIA’s MRV processes, automation and digitalization programs, strategic planning as well as aircraft connectivity, preventive maintenance and electronic flight & tec logs. Yulia holds a PHD from the National aviation university and works as program manager at ISO.

Christoph “touched” down” in Africa for the first time in 1976. Since then he spent time in 75 different countries during his many work-related activities before returning to Switzerland in 1998 where he worked in IT as software architect and provided custom process solutions for many Fortune500 multinationals. In 2007 he moved back to Africa and since then he’s been active in the supply chain business, learning the ropes on the ground, working with farmers, cooperatives, transporters and exporters he became an expert in various industrie’s value chains such as coffee, cocoa, palm oil, coconut, exotic fruit and cash crops. Christoph’s interest in farmer resilience, sound environment, water, healthy soils and nutrient-dense food production brought him to work with well-known agroecology and agroforestry experts and support international organizations and companies all over Africa, promoting, designing, and implementing resilient, highly profitable agroforestry systems for small holders as well as for industrial plantations

Amal has 17-years experience as an expert in new techs, digital compliance & human rights/ethics within an international tech-oriented environment in both private/public sector, as well as EU regulatory and public institutions. She focus all her energy and enthusiasm on high impact multicultural projects, products and services that serve people as well as our planet in the specific context of the world climate agenda. This means supporting organizations developing eco-responsible business through the relevant combination of tech innovation, regulatory risk management and sustainability goals.

Jean-Laurent Pfund is a senior Swiss and international forest scientist and policy advisor, focusing on multifunctional and resilient nature-based solutions embedded in transdisciplinary and integrated land use planning approaches. He has been involved for more than a decade in various tropical forested landscapes, through field activities as well as conferences. He holds a PhD in natural sciences from the ETH of Zürich. Now based in Switzerland, after leading a State level service responsible for nature, fauna and forests, he is currently working as a scientific advisor at the federal office for the environment. His focus is on forest ecosystem services (nature protection, carbon sequestration, water purification, etc.), landscape-level concerted nature conservation and management solutions as well as on systemic interactions, notably amongst forest services and SDGs, leading to more a resilient and just future.

Guillaume is an expert in water utilities and natural resources management. His focus is on SDGs 6, 7, 9 and 11. He has more than 20 years of experience working at the crossroads of technology and water management. After having spent 10 years in water operations, he became a technology expert in the fields of data analytics, digital innovation and emerging tech for the water sector. He comes with robust experience with utilities giants (Suez, Veolia, Thames Water), global consultancies (PWC, IBM, Accenture) and international institutions (the World Bank, UNEP, AFD). He is also an expert to the Solar Impulse Foundation in the context of the “Efficient Solutions”. Guillaume is passionate about finding new ways of addressing the water and sanitation challenges and help speeding-up actions towards the achievement of SDG6, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders. He strongly believes that innovation is not a slogan, but it is a process with substance.

Alain studied Hotel Management at EHL and then finance at HEC Lausanne. He started his career in 1998 joining the world leading ship management group V.Ships where he held management positions in corporate finance, internal audit, and project finance. In 2014, Alain was appointed CEO of Massoel Shipping, a Swiss ship owning company operating a fleet of medium size geared bulk carrier operating worldwide.With the strong conviction that the shipping industry decarbonization would be a one of the biggest industry disruptions ever, he launched PNZ 2050 in 2021, one of the very few independent shipping decarbonization advisory company. The company is providing CO2 emissions compensation services, CO2 emissions reduction solutions and advises project developers within the maritime and technology fields.

Alexandra Pelka is an Austrian ESG and Sustainability Consultant. She started her career in the leather and fashion industry as Head of Europe for a Hongkong based technology provider, obtaining hands-on experience across the entire leather supply chain from meatpacker, tannery to brands. Since 2019 Alexandra has also been part of the expert team of the UNECE in their project on traceability and transparency of the footwear and garment sector. Together with representatives of the different industries she has been working on legislation proposals, compliance programs and a blockchain service in order to achieve a valid framework for international and interindustrial application. She collaborates as a senior expert on projects related to sustainability and environmental matters, climate change and ESG reporting, having profound knowledge on reporting standards and data requirements. Together with the italian-swiss chamber of commerce, she is elaborating sustainability strategies and project implementations for the chamber itself, as well as frameworks that serve as guidelines for the associates.

With initial training in political science and development studies, Yves quickly turned to environmental conservation issues, particularly through the NGO ADAP, of which he is a co-founder. A conservation researcher and practitioner for over 25 years, Yves divides his time between teaching and researching as professor in the Natural Resource Management department at HEPIA, Geneva, and working for ADAP as an operations manager. Convinced that socio-economic aspects are not sufficiently considered in conservation projects, Yves has always been interested in developing partnerships with public and private stakeholders to ensure that these issues are taken into account. Yves is a member of several professional organizations in the field, including two commissions of the World Conservation Union (WCPA and CEESP), the Swiss IUCN committee and the Swiss expert group for the evaluation of the green list of protected areas.

Marc Vogt is the founder and Managing Director of In-Finitude SA. With a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master in Management, Technology, and Economics his competences are solidly based in science. He has a wide experience in both assessments and lecturing in the field of biodiversity. During the last 15 years he gained extensive practice in project management by implementing innovative strategies on behalf of a variety of clients, ranging from small to multinational companies and from public authorities to academic institutions. In addition, Marc Vogt can rely on extensive networks.

Mariam has been the entrepreneurial driving force of the growth of many tech start-ups over the last 16 years, including as a co-founder, chief executive and board member. She is passionate about evidencing and mitigating Adverse Impact to the Planet by helping with Transition Risk for climate mitigation. As Group Managing Director of 4 Earth Intelligence (4EI), Mariam leverages her product innovation background to focus the company’s Sustainable Finance division, which is building products that use the power of Earth Observation to help financial services firms and corporations assess nature risks, comply with growing ESG self disclosure regulations, and develop and monitor sustainable growth strategies. Mariam has sat on the board of several companies, including social impact and innovation technology communities, the judging panel for TechNation Rising Stars two years in a row, and holds a Masters in Earth Science (MESci) in Geophysics & Geology.

After studying Geography at the University of Kent, Christian embarked on a career in financial services. He led a number of major initiatives in product development, business transformation and technology for asset and wealth managers throughout Europe, including the launch of innovative ESG investment funds. Having a passion for harnessing IT solutions to solve real-world problems, he developed data management reporting and integration solutions. Coupling in depth business knowledge with a hands-on management style to ensure successful delivery of complex business critical programs . With an interest in agriculture, transportation and shipping . He sees significant potential in developing remote sensing to serve these sectors.

Decentralization evangelist, university lecturer, and author of books and articles on blockchain, Roberto love affair with computers started when he was a little kid. He sold his first video game at age 10, opened his first consulting firm at 14, later specializing in big data analysis as a law enforcement consultant. He studied decentralized systems and peer to peer networks since the times of the Torrent protocol, and has active experience with blockchain technology since the start of 2013. He pioneered the use of blockchain in Trade Finance in 2014 while being part of the development of the first blockchain platform based on Proof of Stake. After spending several years as consultant and architect of custom decentralized systems, Roberto founded Blockchain Zoo in 2017 providing custom blockchain platforms and architecture of decentralized systems to clients in several different industries. In 2019 Roberto architects and implements a new blockchain decoupled from cryptocurrencies, with unique designs and many industry firsts. Roberto is now cofounder and advisor in several Web3 companies, helping them build functional products and solid relationships with partners across multiple industries.

Alan Wells is an Emeritus Professor of Space Technology at the University of Leicester, UK, where he was appointed as the founding director of the University’s Space Research Centre, He has had significant involvement in ten international space missions with ESA, NASA, UK, Italian German and Russian space agencies in space astrophysics, planetary science and, for past decade, in earth observation science. More recently, he set up Redshift Associates Ltd as a consultancy service to develop and exploit the uptake of space data and services in non-space industrial sectors. He plays a leading role the European Space Agency’s Clean Air Clean Harbour Energy-CACHE 22-project which uses satellite data and services to address issues of air pollution mitigation, GHG emission reduction and uptake of renewable energy associated with maritime operations and has related experience and a wide network of specialists in satellite applications applied to forestry, mining and agriculture. He holds three achievement awards from NASA and ESA, the Sir Arthur C Clarke Lifetime Achievement Award for services to space, the 2016 The Royal Astronomical Society Service Award for Astronomy and, more recently, the Leicestershire-Live 2021 Award for Innovations in Space. He was also an invited panelist at a side meeting of the recent UN Ocean Conference UNOC 2022 in Lisbon speaking addressing opportunities for monitoring marine pollution and enabling decarbonization of maritime transport through space solutions and other innovative technologies.

Guido has more than 25 years of experience in managing and developing systematic investment strategies. He started his career in 1994 as index fund manager before returning to the University to complete his Ph.D. in finance at the Swiss Finance Institute. After his Ph.D. he assumed various roles in the field of quantitative investments in the asset management industry both in Switzerland and abroad. Guido also served as Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Neuchâtel between 2006 and 2019 where he taught quantitative risk management. Since the end of 2019, he has been CIO of Asteria Investment Managers a Geneva-based boutique entirely dedicated to impact investing. He contributed to develop investment processes that can deliver competitive long-term performances whilst integrating positive social and environmental impacts. To do so, Asteria relies on a data-driven proprietary systematic framework, which make extensive use of data science.

Oluwafemi earned a professional doctorate in International Relations and Diplomacy from the United Kingdom. He is an outstanding business professional with years of experience executing key initiatives in digital ecosystems and business solutions to achieve sustainable development goals. A detail-oriented and strategic development professional offering expertise in socio-economic development. He was awarded an honorary doctorate in International Law, in the United Kingdom for his contributions and effort to spread the spirit of tolerance, justice, human and cultural values, and science. He was appointed as an expert writer for a Water Management and Purification Technologies report by the African Union Development Agency of the African Union High-Level Panel on Emerging Technologies. In addition, he was appointed a Global Ambassador to the Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Club CEC, an international network of technocrats. He was selected among 30 successful applicants for the 2022 IMF youth fellowship program out of over 4,200 applications joining the IMF senior management at the forefront of solving the current global crisis in inflation, food security, and climate change to build forward better. Michaela is a communication and marketing specialist, translator, cultural mediator, biomimicry practitioner, safari guide, naturalist, and passionate biologist who seeks connections where people have not yet made them. Her Master’s degree in International Relations and the ability to abstract acquired during her MBA allow her to master the multicultural and interdisciplinary impacts of communication in multiple fields of application.

With a multidisciplinary background in agronomy, microbiology, organic chemistry and biochemistry, Isabella started her career in 1994 with various projects of bioremediation in soils, sediments, and wastewater treatments plants. Her experience was built on the confrontation of her scientific training with the realities of ecosystems, from there by combining several technologies she was able to record very positive results. In 1997, she returned to her passion, plants and soils, with microorganisms and bio stimulants as allies, to create ranges of fertilizers and plant protection products accepted in organic farming, for the retail and the professional market. While evolving in her missions, for more than 15 years, she has continued to make soil microbiology more accessible and understandable to all; she has chosen to invest in new agronomic paradigms profoundly changing the common vision of plants and soils: agronomy with carbon at the heart of living soils, the pH/redox couple as indicators of soil and plant health, a systemic approach that considers plants as holobionts, and biology at the centre of all agronomic actions.

Kevin is a senior Designer & Strategist based in Switzerland with a background in architecture and interior design, visual & communication design, web development, and human-centered design approaches. With a deep interest in topics at the intersection of design, UX, systems & complexity thinking, critical thinking, ethics, organisation, decision-making, sense-making, and change-making practices, he brings concepts like “soft spaces”, approaches based on enabling constraints, attractors, and scaffolding through regenerative design practices to go beyond users and/or business centeredness.

Michele started his career in the financial sector in 2009 as a financial and operational auditor in globally recognized consulting companies (PwC and EY) between Italy and Luxembourg. In 2015, he moved to Switzerland to complete an MBA in Sustainable Business allowing him to connect the dots between environmental, social and financial performance. Eventually, in 2017, he started to complement his expertise with Blockchain knowledge by consulting and completinga PhD in Computer Science in 2022. Currently, he is Chief Sustainability Officer at ImpactScope which helps social enterprises harness the opportunities of web3 tools while empowering digital asset ventures to become more sustainable. Michele joined ImpactScope at the end of 2019, where he leverages his Blockchain, sustainability and finance knowledge to tackle climate change and reach the SDGs. Michele loves to work at the intersection between different disciplines, exploring and pioneering, at work and in personal life, for solutions that improve the quality of life of people as well as the natural environment we are living in.

François Parvex is a civil engineer and agronomist graduated from the Federal Polytechnic Schools of Lausanne and Zurich. He completed his training with a postgraduate management course at IMD in Lausanne. After working as an energy engineer, since 1987 he has supported project leaders, public authorities and private organizations in the fields of socio-economics, land management and public infrastructure. He helps them to identify, analyze and carry out initiatives that promote sustainable development as well as good management and territorial resilience. With the benefit of broad methodological skills, he offers innovative solutions, enhances potential, organizes networking, relies on local actors, promotes the conditions necessary for the construction of consensus, stimulates sustainable dynamics and creates the bases for continuous development of knowledge. His purpose is to assist public authorities and institutions of civil society in their development and good management efforts.

A persuasive soil health and regenerative agriculture paradigm advocate and solutionary, Francis is an expert and passionate for restoring, protecting and enhancing farmland biodiversity and ecosystem services to essentially address the critical interlinked challenges of land/soil, water, food/nutrition, climate change and dwindling smallholder farmers’ revenue by co-catalyzing collaborations/coalitions that will ambitiously push regenerative and net-positive local food systems forward across the globe. He started his career with multinational oil & gas companies in Nigeria as an environmental public health consultant in 2004 with the core focus of advocating and providing expert leadership for transitioning to far more effective –nature-based– alternatives. Following his conviction that continued production of fossil fuel and hydrocarbon based agrochemicals is a food security and climate change threat, he ambitiously resigned his consultancy job and acquired expert capacity for a net-positive agriculture and ecosystem restoration. Professor Karamoko Diarra, holds two doctorates in life sciences from Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD), where he has been working since 1989. He has worked as a consultant for many institutions and NGOs. At UCAD, he coordinates the doctoral program ‘Horticulture and Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture’ and the Professional Master in ‘Sustainable Management of Horticultural Agro-Ecosystems’ (GEDAH). His current research focuses on the agroecological management of crop pests in agricultural landscapes, and the valorization of biodiversity and plant and animal waste. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Horticulture Cluster of Senegal. He is the Founder of the Firm Fiabilis Consulting approved by the Ministry of Environment for environmental impact studies and of the Environmental Center for Research and Training in Agroecology (CERFA), a research, training and green business incubation tool for the professional insertion of young people.

Niall is a zoologist by training and has spent the last 40 years working at the nexus of environment, economic opportunityand human well-being, particularly in Africa and Asia, both as a consultant providing advisory services to government agencies, non-governmental organisations and companies and, more recently, as a project developer in his own right. A particular theme is stakeholder analysis and cross-sector partnership, bringing different economic actors and stakeholders together to address strategic natural resource-use challenges in a way that aligns the needs of investors with the goals of inclusive, carbon-neutral development. Niall is joint-CEO of Living Carbon International, a joint venture between Carbon-Plus Capital, a specialist in carbon finance, of which he is a founding partner, and Regen Farm Platform, a project developer specialising in regenerative farming. Dr James Medou is a pioneer in quantitative finance with a focus on alternative investment, portfolio allocation, Risk‐Management and Fintech. Throughout his long career, he has successfully designed and implemented proprietary algorithms seeking to understand the nature of financial processes and phenomena, and dictating portfolio allocations shifts. He hold a PhD in Physics from Pierre & Marie Curie university in Paris – with a specialization in massive data and parallel processing from VLSI design – and is a graduate from Telecom Paris.

A Private Equity expert and commodity trader & marketer, Nicolas spent most of his career with engineers and has developed a passion for food & energy transitions financing.

It all started in 2005 at ICE in London with data management and was rapidly followed by setting up Unigestion Hedge Funds portfolio optimization capabilities in Geneva, Switzerland.

As industrial pollution regulations started to become tradable, Nicolas was fortunate to start the CO2 trading of Swiss largest utility, Alpiq in Lausanne (2008 – 2014). Mikolaj Sekutowicz is the Founder and CEO of Impact One, where he is dedicated to developing nature positive solutions for urban environments. Audrey Selian serves as Director of Artha Impact (Rianta Capital Zurich), a dedicated advisory to the Singh Family Trust and is co-founder of Artha Networks Inc. (ANI), a SaaS platform that has been licensed to various ecosystem-building organizations working to support investment discovery and collaboration across various sectors and geographies. Audrey’s focus within the Artha portfolio has been on the deployment of private capital to high impact businesses serving the underserved in India. Economist by training, Elisa’s background is in international trade and development of sustainable value chains, with keen interest in circular economy solutions to the triple planetary crisis of climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss. With previous experience both in the private sector and in international organisations, Elisa currently works at the African Development Bank’s Climate Change and Green Growth Department. She manages the project portfolio of the Africa Circular Economy Facility ACEF, a multi-donor trust fund aiming at mainstreaming the circular economy as an inclusive green growth development model for improved livelihoods and enhanced resilience in Africa. She is also part of multi-stakeholder working groups developing financing solutions, policy and practices for circular economy.

Thomas Yapo holds a master’s degree in econometrics from Paris X University and a master’s degree in management from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris.

Besides this training in these renowned organizations, Thomas has 20 years of professional experience in various roles. In 2000, he began his career as a Strategy Consultant to develop small and medium-sized enterprises between France and the United States of America. From 2002, he became an Investment Advisor whose main function was to market the investment solutions of banks and insurance companies. During these years, his network asked him to intervene on projects in sub-Saharan Africa (finding financing for companies, setting up public-private partnerships, etc.). Beris Gwynne began her career as an Australian diplomat, with postings in Vietnam, Poland, Mexico and Nauru. She joined the Australian “aid” agency in 1989 but left after five years to take up a position with World Vision Australia. Subsequent executive appointments in the not for profit sector included The Foundation for Development Cooperation (Brisbane), The Global Water Partnership Organisation (Stockholm) and World Vision International (Geneva) where she lead the creation of WVI’s “Global Accountability” initiative, serving subsequently as Director of WVi’s office and senior representative to the United Nations in Geneva.

In 2016, Beris created an open platform for collaboration (Incitāre) to encourage fresh thinking and mobilise practical action to accelerate the achievement of sustainable development and humanitarian goals. She has post graduate qualifications in International Law and International Relations and has mobilised support for initiatives to promote futures thinking, innovative (futures fit) partnering (digitisation, financing and organisational design) and the recalibration of metrics to accelerate action along transformative pathways.

Dagmawi is a senior investment manager responsible for providing holistic investment solutions as well as strategic investmentt advice to ultra high-net-worth individuals, foundations, families and their family offices. He has extensive experience designing and managing global investment programs that include private assets and responsible (ESG) strategies, covering strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and implementation on institutional platforms. He is also an active advisory board member of the Axess ThinkTank whose mission is to share knowledge between academicss and practitioners in the financial services industry. Dagmawi holds a Master of Science in Business and Finance from HEC Lausanne University and the Michigan Technological University. He is also a CFA (including ESG investing) and FRM charters holder.

Tony joined RAM AI in 2019 as a Senior Quantitative Researcher and became Co-head of Systematic Macro. His work focuses primarily on extracting market inefficiencies from different sources from traditional fundamentals, market signals, alternative data, and machine learning. Tony started his career at Unigestion in the quantitative equity low volatility team and later became a member of the research and investment committee for Minimum Variance Strategies, where he led the factor investing research group for institutional clients. Christophe Gironde is a lecturer at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva. His main domains for teaching/training and research are agrarian change, livelihoods and human development. He received his Ph.D. in development studies from the Graduate Institute of Development Studies (IUED/University of Geneva) in 2001. His thesis analyses the restoration and transformation of the household economy in rural Vietnam (1985-2000). He has extensive field research experience in rural Vietnam and Cambodia, and previously in the Republic of Congo and Burundi. Before joining the Institute in 2004, he worked as a researcher in Norway (Fafo, International Studies) and lived two years in Vietnam (1996-97) in the frame of his doctoral thesis.

Louis is a Technology Consultant at PwC where he is focused on strategy for emerging technologies. He also coordinates the development of a new Blockchain & Crypto team within PwC Belgium. Prior to joining PwC, Louis completed a master in Innovation & New Sustainable Business Models at ICHEC Brussels Management School and wrote his master thesis on the environmental implications of Blockchain. Alongside his studies, he has contributed to several projects revolving around blockchain. Those include experiences at CryptoLake Consulting (blockchain-related consulting), at VenezVit (use of blockchain & IoT for the optimization of supply chains within the pharmaceutical industry) and at AxessImpact (as part of his final year internship). Because of these experiences, Louis has developed a strong interest in technology and how it can help achieve the sustainable development goals.

Yang is managing partner of Cibola Partners with more than 15 years’ experiences in business advisory for public institutions, private firms and investors in their cross-border business development and investment between China, Europe and Africa, mainly in Environment, Energy, Carbon, climate change mitigation and adaptation projects. She began her career as project manager in the energy and environment field. She then joined a subsidiary of Edmond de Rothschild, worked with major groups, SMEs and investment funds on advisory and technical assistance missions related to the deployment of new sustainable strategies, the creation of investment funds with high social and environmental value and the sourcing and evaluation of cleantech companies. She is experienced on setting up of emission reduction projects under the Green Climate Fund framework, in developing/cross country environmental and carbon assessment of commodities with complexes value chain. Yang holds a MSc in environmental engineering from AgroParisTech and speaks Chinese, French and English.

Dr. Ernst von Kimakowitz is passionate about strengthening the positive impact of business towards a more equitable and more sustainable planet.He is founding Director of the Humanistic Management Center, an independent think tank, learning institution and advisory firm, focused on business ethics and sustainability. He also co-founded and leads the Humanistic Management Network, a global network of scholars, policy makers and management practitioners working towards enhancing the body of knowledge and implementing humanistic management principles. Ernst holds a research position at the University of Lucerne where he is focusing on dignity at work, how respect for our dignity is engrained in organizational behavior and what impact it makes. Christian is a Danish & Congolese (DRC) citizen, co-founder of the 4IP Group LLC where he is the Managing Partner after a long career working for a number of International Organizations and Think Tanks, including DIIS, ODI, OECD, UNCTAD, ILO, UNECA, AUC, and African Development Bank, where he got exposed to the Congo Basin Forest Fund, which aims to mobilize resources to finance activities and projects aimed at promoting the equitable and sustainable conservation and management of the Congo Basin forests and ecosystems for poverty alleviation, sustainable social-economic development, regional cooperation and environmental conservation. He is simultaneously the GP of a new Tech Impact Venture Capital Fund – The Invisible Heart Impact Fund and since December 2020 he has been a designated member of the Board of the Swiss Impact Investing Association (SIIA). Christian holds a Ph.D. in Applied Development Economics at successively Centre for Development and Poverty Reduction & Centre for Environmental Policy at Imperial College London & University of London.

Claire is currently a Senior Sustainability Consultant at dss+, an operations consulting firm based in Geneva, where she helps develop and implement ESG-Sustainability Strategies and Roadmaps, with a strong focus on supporting companies on their Energy Transition and Decarbonization transformation journeys. With a strong track record in industry across multiple geographies and sectors, she has consistently delivered value and results for her teams, clients, and stakeholders. She has over 10 years of hands-on experience in both private and non-for profit organizations within multi-cultural and multi-stakeholder environments, her areas of work within the Energy, Chemicals and FMCG industries include Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), Environmental Mitigation, Water Treatment, Waste Reduction and Elimination, among many others. She previously led the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA), a non-profit business association that promotes best practice for credible and high-quality voluntary climate action and supports private sector engagement in the transition towards a net zero world.

Alexandre started his career as an environmental economist at the World Bank before joining the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN in 1997 working on environment and natural resources management. After a PhD in economics from the university of Versailles, he worked as lead environmental economist of a DG Research funded project on natural disasters risk management and he published a book on the economic impacts of climate change and natural disasters. On a regular basis, he collaborates as Senior Expert on development projects related to climate change adaptation, mitigation, disaster risk reduction, and renewable energy with multiple entities such as the USAID, UNDP, JICAc or the European Commission. He is also consulted on topics such as the EU Energy Climate policy and legislation, by various countries to prepare the Climate COPs or to set up national climate funds in relation to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). Since August 2015, he is an expert of the Registration and Issuance Team to the CDM Executive Board of the UNFCCC.

On his many roles, Petri has gathered 30+ years of direct CIO/CEO and over 20 years of ESG/Impact investing experience from managing large scale global portfolios in Finland and Middle East. He gained peer group topping track record as CIO for a pension fund as well as for a SWF where aside of investments, he was in charge of USD 6 billion sharia compliant treasury operations. Cecilia (Sid) Embree, a Canadian citizen, specializes in business and project development,management and financing for low-carbon and clean energy businesses and investors. For +18 years, she consulted with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) where she raised +$50M to start up their carbon trading activities and was a key team member responsible for +$75M in carbon funds management, deal origination and due diligence, contract structuring, and portfolio management. She also advised IFC on bond structuring, portfolio development and deal negotiations for its $152M Forest (REDD) Bond. During the 2000s, she set up and operated AtmosClear Canada’s retail and wholesale carbon business. During the past 3 years, Sid led development of the Jaguar Corridor Investment Fund, a +$100M fund to invest in enterprises operating in mature and emerging conservation and carbon markets in Latin America. In addition, Sid advised the IDB on design considerations for a $200M biodiversity bond and separately developed a model for a carbon-linked biodiversity bond. She has an MBA in finance and international business from New York University, a master’s degree in environmental studies (York University), and a bachelor’s degree in urban & regional planning and environment & resources management (University of Waterloo).

Dr. Luciano Giannini, CEO and Founder of E4SD (Energy for Sustainable Development), graduated in Physics at the University of Rome, throughout his decades of professional life has been working mainly in the energy sector (nuclear, fossil and renewables sources), Artificial intelligence and rational use of natural resources, as University Professor and researcher (CNR, JRC European Ispra, Stanford Research Institute etc) and manager in important multinational companies (ENI, ABB, Alstom etc) in Italy and abroad. He has many years of experience in the processes of internationalization of SMEs, operating in the field of Clean Technology (Circular Economy, Smart Farming, Rural Bio Architecture, Water treatment, Renewable Energy etc) applied particularly in remote areas as well as creating a network among companies, research centres and universities (Polytechnic University of Milan, Bicocca University, RSE, ENEA etc). He is the author of several scientific publications and testimonies at important international conferences. President of the Energy Commission of the Association of Managers of Industrial Companies of Lombardy (ALDAI), member of the Executive Committee of AEIT (Italian Association of Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automation, Computer Science and Telecommunications) and of the Scientific Committee of the Planet Life Economy Foundation (PLEF).Today is also Professor of Digital Energy and Sustainable Development at the Green Foundation (Italy)

Director at the Impact and Sustainability accelerator that he launched for the Founder Institute, and Geneva ambassador for Top Tier Impact, Andrea is a coder since the age of 13, and spent his early career years in Corporates such as PwC, Bracco and Hewlett Packard at EMEA level, in finance, operations and sales. Since 2010 Andrea has devoted himself to Impact tech, co-founding a venture incubator and a responsible travel venture. He has been General Manager in one of the biggest European fair trade companies, and led an Impact Tech accelerator in Geneva. Andrea has been Board member in the Italian national startup association leading the Open Innovation Chapter, established under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development. He is also Board member and mentor or advisor to foundations, VC firms, accelerators, start-ups, speaker in events and contract professor for universities.
