Alain Savary

Alain studied Hotel Management at EHL and then finance at HEC Lausanne. He started his career in 1998 joining the world leading ship management group V.Ships where he held management positions in corporate finance, internal audit, and project finance. In 2014, Alain was appointed CEO of Massoel Shipping, a Swiss ship owning company operating a fleet of medium size geared bulk carrier operating worldwide.With the strong conviction that the shipping industry decarbonization would be a one of the biggest industry disruptions ever, he launched PNZ 2050 in 2021, one of the very few independent shipping decarbonization advisory company. The company is providing CO2 emissions compensation services, CO2 emissions reduction solutions and advises project developers within the maritime and technology fields.
