Christian Kingombe

Christian is a Danish & Congolese (DRC) citizen, co-founder of the 4IP Group LLC where he is the Managing Partner after a long career working for a number of International Organizations and Think Tanks, including DIIS, ODI, OECD, UNCTAD, ILO, UNECA, AUC, and African Development Bank, where he got exposed to the Congo Basin Forest Fund, which aims to mobilize resources to finance activities and projects aimed at promoting the equitable and sustainable conservation and management of the Congo Basin forests and ecosystems for poverty alleviation, sustainable social-economic development, regional cooperation and environmental conservation. He is simultaneously the GP of a new Tech Impact Venture Capital Fund – The Invisible Heart Impact Fund and since December 2020 he has been a designated member of the Board of the Swiss Impact Investing Association (SIIA). Christian holds a Ph.D. in Applied Development Economics at successively Centre for Development and Poverty Reduction & Centre for Environmental Policy at Imperial College London & University of London.
