Ernst von Kimakowitz

Dr. Ernst von Kimakowitz is passionate about strengthening the positive impact of business towards a more equitable and more sustainable planet.He is founding Director of the Humanistic Management Center, an independent think tank, learning institution and advisory firm, focused on business ethics and sustainability. He also co-founded and leads the Humanistic Management Network, a global network of scholars, policy makers and management practitioners working towards enhancing the body of knowledge and implementing humanistic management principles. Ernst holds a research position at the University of Lucerne where he is focusing on dignity at work, how respect for our dignity is engrained in organizational behavior and what impact it makes. He holds a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, an award winning Ph.D. from the Institute for Business Ethics at the University of St.Gallen and has won a Best Symposium in Management Education and Development award at the Academy of Management.
