AxessImpact and Amazonia Fund Alliance Program unite to revolutionize environmental protection and investment opportunities
The Swiss Green Fintech AxessImpact has announced a strategic partnership with Amazonia Fund Alliance Program, the organization dedicated to the development and support of local NGOs working on the protection of the Amazon rainforest and the indigenous communities living within it. AxessImpact will support Amazonia Fund Alliance Program through its technology dedicated platform ‘Habitat’, designed to develop and derisk nature-based and climate solutions, ensuring transparency and trust in the impact of its projects.
This partnership will empower Amazonia Fund Alliance Program to enhance its ecosystem of NGOs through a comprehensive habitat that aggregates the various NGOs supported by the alliance. This habitat will provide Amazonia Fund Alliance Program with an operating system to monitor all on-the-ground interventions, setting new standards for auditability and transparency for the supported projects. Additionally, it will enable the de-risking of projects for investors interested in participating at various stages of the project lifecycle, from planning and setup to the creation of impactful results.
The collaboration will unlock new investment opportunities ranging from grants, catalytic to systemic blended finance to the generation and claiming of social and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) impacts. It will extend beyond traditional carbon offset agreements to include new natural capital assets such as biodiversity and social impact. Ultimately, this process initiated by Amazonia Fund Alliance Program will extend to all underlying NGOs, enabling them to develop their own habitats and customize their interventions and methodologies according to the specific needs of their projects. This will foster a growing environment of collaboration and transparency, connecting investors to a network where they can audit and participate.
