Elisa Luotonen
Economist by training, Elisa’s background is in international trade and development of sustainable value chains, with keen interest in circular economy solutions to the triple planetary crisis of climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss. With previous experience both in the private sector and in international organisations, Elisa currently works at the African Development Bank’s Climate Change and Green Growth Department. She manages the project portfolio of the Africa Circular Economy Facility ACEF, a multi-donor trust fund aiming at mainstreaming the circular economy as an inclusive green growth development model for improved livelihoods and enhanced resilience in Africa. She is also part of multi-stakeholder working groups developing financing solutions, policy and practices for circular economy.
